Tips and Advice

Photocopier Supplies

Like any other mechanical equipment we use in the office or at home, you should try and keep them in superb condition at all times to prevent sudden dysfunction that can hinder you from operating your business properly. Avoid ‘abusing’ your photocopier by using it with insufficient toner, paper, or other supplies. Always check its warning devices and have someone fix it immediately if it signals a problem. Inadequate supplies and dysfunctional parts will force it to work harder thus running the risk of a broken-down equipment.

Energy Star

Issues with regard to electricity might bother you because there might be days when a photocopier will not be used as often as other days. Worry no more, all you need to do is look for an energy star logo, which means that the photocopier that you will purchase has a sleep mode that lessens your electricity consumption while not entirely turning the machine off. Thus, using the photocopier after it has been in the sleep mode will not require a long ‘warm up’ time that most machines need.

Paper Jams and Other Problems

Problems concerning your photocopier should be handled by a professional, unless you or somebody from your office is knowledgeable about photocopier repairs. Doing it without proper knowledge might cause harm to your equipment, and waste of money for further repairs.

Double Sided Copying

If you want to lessen your paper consumption, you might want to consider buying a photocopier that has an RADF or a feature that flips the paper and prints on the other side. An even better option is to look for a copier that can print on recycled paper which will help you cut your paper budget and save tress as well.
